Mid Winters Break!!

This weekend we travelled up to the Victorian/New South Wales border which is 3hrs + drive from home, we spent a lovely weekend in Wodonga, and stayed at Boathaven resort which overlooks the Hume Dam, fabulous views of peace and tranquility. We were there for my hubbies hobby which is involves plastic model building of cars, there was a show, so the family tagged along. We were able to experience the model show, learn about the history of the Hume Dam and visit a local Trout Farm and experience the thrill of feeding them, they are hungry little devils!!. From my own prospective it was great to see how others run shows in different hobbies and how they critique their work, very different to bears.

Yes plenty of sewing of bears was done during the trip as well.

Its that time of year again, I have dragged out the old knitting needles, I am knitting a scarf at the moment and another special project for a doggie friend, when I am done I will post some pics to share. Hoping all is well with everyone today..

Jacob has arrived!

Meet Jacob my hottest new design, in gorgeous Cognac Brown coloured ratinee mohair, such a sweet soul, I love him, the eyes say it all. His handmade tie was made from some fabric I found whilst we were on holidays, it has some cheeky Cats printed throughout.

He is now available for adoption on my website.

How did you spend your last day of school holidays?

As I have been working through these school holidays, I had an opportunity to spend some time with the kids this weekend, and we went off swimming (inside of course) and had a fabulous time, now we are back into the grind of term 3 tomorrow. Yayyy I also can get back into the groove of working on my bears in the evenings as well.
